湖南城建职业技术学院2023 英语单招考试大纲

一、考试目标

公平、科学、规范、准确地测试学生英语语言基础知识和英语语言综合应用能力，其中包括英语语言知识 (主要指词汇和结构) 的运用能力、阅读能力、初步的语言翻译能力，为使学生能以英语为工具，获取专业所需信息，并为进一步提高英语水平打下较好的基础。

二、考试内容和基本要求

(一) 词汇和结构 (Vocabularyandstructure)

要求学生掌握常用词汇、短语和语言基本知识。

(二) 阅读理解 (ReadingComprehension)

本部分题型阅读选择题，测试的文字材料包括一般性阅读材料 (如文化、社会、常识、科普、经贸、人物等) 或应用性文字 (如信函、广告、说明书等) ，难度适宜。

主要测试以下阅读技能：

1)掌握所读材料的主旨和大意；

2) 了解用以阐述主旨的事实和有关细节；

3) 根据上下文判断某些生词和短语的意义；

4) 理解单词的意义和上下句的逻辑关系；

5) 根据所读的材料进行一定的判断、推理；

6) 领会作者的观点和态度。

(三) 翻译(Translation)

翻译部分为英汉互译。主要考核考生对英语固定词组、句型、特殊句式、各种从句等语言基础知识的掌握程度。

英译汉部分：测试考生将英语正确译成汉语的能力。所译材料为英文句子。

汉译英部分：句中的一部分已用英文给出，要求考生根据全句意思将汉语部分译成英语。

翻译必须符合英语的语法结构和表达习惯，要求用词准确。
